TARGET MARATHON
WHY I LIKE IT: Sometime in 2016, someone placed Target’s well-known red bullseye and black lettering on the side of a former railroad structure just off the side of the highway outside of Marathon, Texas, and Target Marathon was born. Pretty random, totally great.
DON’T MISS THE: entire thing. Target Marathon doesn’t have an exact address, so you could miss it entirely if you’re not on the lookout.
DON’T KILL MY VIBE: It’s an empty abandoned structure and on the side of the road – there might be a cute animal sheltering inside, some rocks, or a few empty beer and wine bottles – you just never know.
WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW: Target Marathon is a well-known little secret, so just knowing about is half the battle of spotting it.
