  • Historic drug store (first opened in 1913) is now home to a hotel, restaurant, and fudge shop with an original soda fountain. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with eggs, biscuits, pancakes, cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, and chicken fried chicken sandwiches on the menu. Don’t forget to grab an ice cream sundae or banana split before heading out the door.

  • Big Bang Theory: If you only go to one party during your West Texas adventure, make sure it’s a Star Party at the McDonald Observatory.
