Boquillas del Carmen, Mexico

WHY I LIKE IT: Boquillas del Carmen, known simply as Boquillas, is a village in northern Mexico on the banks of the Rio Grande. It’s pretty magical that Boquillas is accessible by row boat from Big Bend, making this a must-visit destination. 

DON’T MISS THE: sights, smells, and sounds. “Purchase trinkets from kids in the street, enjoy burritos and cervezas, explore the Sierre del Carmen, or simply gaze back at Los Estados Unidos from the other side.” – Land of Mañana
