WHY I LIKE IT: Big Bang Theory. If you only go to one party during your West Texas adventure, make sure it’s a Star Party at the McDonald Observatory. Get ready for a night of star gazing like you’ve never seen before, while learning about the shimmering cosmos in all of it’s glory.
DON’T MISS THE: views leading to the observatory at dusk and sunset. It’s magical.
DON’T KILL MY VIBE: Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW: Make sure to reserve tickets in advance (they usually sell out) and bring a blanket for an evening with the stars- it gets chilly.
